The creation Ardonagh Community Trust - ‘ACT’, as we like to call it - closely followed the creation of The Ardoangh Group in 2017.

Looking out for clients and their insurance needs is at the heart of all our brands within The Ardonagh Group, which means our people are wired into hundreds of communities across the UK. We realised that, with such a large family of businesses at the centre of the communities we serve, we were uniquely placed to harness their spirit, resilience and unique cultural perspective to make a real impact on causes and communities close to the hearts of our colleagues and clients.

In the three short years since it was created, ACT has become one of Ardonagh’s proudest flagship achievements. It harnesses the power of the lengths our employees will go to serve their local communities and the causes closest to them and amplifies the impact these acts have through an inclusive and accessible community charity.

So far, ACT has raised over £800,000 thanks to the generosity of Ardonagh colleagues and partners. 

This has allowed us to:

• Match the funds raised by our colleagues by £66,000 for over 137 local and specialised charities
  
• Award over £251,000 to 51 incredible projects and local initiatives via our quarterly community grant programme
  
• Donate over £125,000 to our national charity partner, Mind
  
• Train over 300 colleagues in conjunction with MHFA England, with 40 of those becoming accredited Mental Health First Aiders
